Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant is quite overpriced for what it offers. The quality of the steak wasn’t the best, and they overdo it with the butter, which ends up masking any real flavor. On the plus side, the cocktails were good, the wagyu tostones appetizer was excellent, and the desserts were truly enjoyable. However, I was overall disappointed that the steaks lacked flavor. Given the price, there are many other fantastic steakhouses in Miami.
The menu was straightforward, filled with tempting choices. Our server was friendly, and I appreciated that the sommelier came over immediately to share the specials for the evening. We began our meal with a tuna tartare, which was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The colors of the tuna were stunning, and I was so immersed in enjoying the delicious food that I forgot to take pictures! What I loved most about the tuna tartare, aside from its flavor, taste, and tenderness, was the sauce that accompanied it. I could eat that sauce every day! Next, we shared a Chaufa, which was spectacular. The burst of flavors in my mouth was phenomenal, and everything was cooked to perfection. I had seen pictures of this place and thought their food would be packed with flavor, but it wasn't until I tasted it that I truly recognized the depth of flavor they offer. They're located in a shopping center, which means parking is free but can be limited. My advice is to make a reservation and give yourself an extra 10 minutes just in case.
The food and service were exceptional. However, the evening was spoiled by the manager's decision to charge us $35 for a cake we brought ourselves. Seriously? We spent over $500, and he wanted to add that charge on top?
Pros: lots of parking. Food was incredible (get the steak! And Brussel sprouts were amazing! . Staff was attentive and very nice. Upscale feel insideCons: we should have done more research it was much more expensive than planned.Dietary restrictions: We're able to cater to my shellfish allergy no problem!
Meat quality was OK however my husband's bone in ribeye was very fatty. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly but extremely salty. Don't know if this is a Peruvian must. I could not eat it. The lobster tail I requested was upgraded to their house specialty $65!!! I wanted a simple lobster tail add-on with my filet. The wine was very good but the time we walked in it appeared to be in a disarray. No enough workers to clear tables. We waited almost 30 minutes and we had reservations! Overall very disappointed with this spot. We were really looking forward to a great neighborhood steakhouse but didn't meet our expectations.
