Bidrage med feedbackBuffet is absolutely the best around. The fresh roast turkey with all the fixings is to die for. There is also prime rib at the carving station! Fried clams, haddock, mussels, scallops and salmon for the ones that like seafood. Ice cream sundaes and homemade pies are available at the dessert tables.
The breakfast buffet are better than Las Vegas buffets. Omelet station and eggs cooked anyway you want. The pancakes and waffles are also cooked right in front of you on the grills. Bacon, sausage, corned beef hash, SOS, fresh fruits and even ice cream if you want some breakfast dessert. The food is fresh and cooked in small amounts to maintain the quality that other buffets only wish they could achieve. The price was the best part as all this and more for only $5.95!!
I think we may have gotten here at the wrong time (5:30 PM) because the buffet had either empty plates, overcooked, or stale food. The parking lot was mostly empty when we got there and about 1/3 full when we left. I am definitely not a picky eater and I'm a veteran of buffet food but this was definitely sub-par. Examples: The tortillas in the warmer were ice cold so they broke as I used them. The tortilla chips were empty until my wife's 3rd trip and then the insides of the chips had oil gushing out of them because they had been sitting in oil. The kielbasa stir-fry was never refilled while we were there. I did not get any fried clams until my 4th trip up. The steamed vegetables were so overcooked they were mush. Lastly, the pie selection was down to a couple because no one was cutting more slices. The restaurant was clean and the service from Katrina was good enough to earn a 20% tip. We just expected more from such a popular restaurant.
