World famous chicken dumpling soup!. Great service, better than average cafe food, full menu, healthy portions! Chicken dumpling soup a must-try!

Restroom left a little to be desired but the commode was clean. Popcorn shrimp was okay; I really enjoyed the fries! Crinkle cut and soft, with some seasoning that tasted ‘sweet’ to me. Seriously, very good. Cute old fashioned place. I will stop again when we’re on I35.

Went here for a bite on our way for a guys weekend at a yurt. Nobody else was there, but service was great and food was good: We both got a basic two egg, hash, bacon, toast platter and it was all basic but good, no complaints. They said they're about to move into a better space soon, so we'll have to try them again next time! Wanted to check out the meat market too, but we're cramped for time.

Just a wonderful cafe!! From the phenomenal food to the nice waitress The owner has a wonderful personality and I enjoyed chatting with him as well. Also they sponsor a Rodeo labor day weekend and I would encourage everyone to go there and I give this cafe a 9 out of 10 and the only reason not a 10 out of 10 is because I have to drive over 20.miles to eat here!! Move 20 mile west of your location!! Lol

Great little place with delicious home cooked meals. We stop by on the way to the cabin. You can buy the chicken dumpling soup by the quart or half gallon at their meat market next door.
