The Pilot Diner - Pilot Mountain

Ordered cornbread, they gave me flitter after I ordered the corn bread. Gave me flitter and tried to tell me it's cornbread. The owner was very rude then said they don't even sale corn bread. A bunch of liars and I would not support their small business!! Worst cheeseburger I had in my life. Would not recommend!! Who tries to sell something they don't even make?? Very disappointed

Great food and a very clean place with a friendly staff....great little hidden gem off the beaten path...glad that we found it.

What a great diner to stop in for a nice lunch. Today was my first time in. They are a little off our regular path but still very convenient location. Their signage states they opened in 2019. I'm glad to see they survived the shutdown. Inside is quite open and roomy so it appears to be a comfortable place to bring a large group. The interior is very casual and has more of a coffee shop than restaurant vibe. I wasn't really hungry so I only ordered the patty melt thinking I would take half of it home. It was so tasty I ate every bite. The TexasToast was perfect as was the meat and onions. The waitress was super sweet and helpful. My husband ordered a hotdog and cheese burger. He didn't care for the hot dog because the brand appeared to be one in which they use the red coloring. Many folks really like that kind of hotdog and they do grill the hotdogs here. They have a good menu selection and I look forward to eating here again.

Pre processed food meat is tougj veggies are canned sides are out of a box or package better than starving i guess

The food and service are always very good. So glad they are open.
