Most of the restaurants we saw were outdoor seating, and we just weren't for it. We needed to cool off somewhere and enjoy our food, and The Front Porch Cafe was the perfect place! We checked at 13:43 and were told that it would wait for 30 45 minutes, but that they would bring us earlier if they could, as we were only 2 people. We received the text that our table was ready at 1:57. Of course we were very grateful for the short 14-minute waiting time. The restaurant is family style all you can eat. You get 2 meats and 3 pages. My fiancée, I chose the ribs and flounder for the meat. We chose the garden salad, green beans and Mac cheese. Everything was so good! My fiancé said the green beans gave his grandmother's recipe a run for her money. The Mac and the cheese reminded me of my great grandmother. I don't think food can get more praise than that to be honest. In addition, the ribs were cooked with a delicious sauce, the flounder was seasonally cooked wonderfully also a sauce that was well paired. Oh, her sweet tea was also like a sip of sweet summer sun.
Make your reservation before the time you enter the park. We did a few hours after arrival. A short stop to get us through for the rest of the night. Bathroom inside for parasols. And before you go, ask for a refill in a cup so you can drink more through the park!
Fast service, good food and generous portions, with a covered deck dining area (with ceiling fans).
Beautiful little restaurant that has some homemade flavors. Children's dishes are above all awarded with the curly frits. Add chickens in their wedge salad was not a good idea because it was dry and overpriced. Another good value especially with the Gold Pass discount.
You choose from a limited selection of mains and sides; however, the menu has decently wide selection here. Staff was super friendly, and the restaurant's atmosphere was laid back/ casual. The food was amazing and quick to come. I had the corn and potato chowder and the meatloaf slider.. A must eat and good value for those country food fans out there. Located within the Dollywood theme park.
