La Mandragora - PIETRASANTA

Lovely place, cared for in detail, romantic summer veranda with candlelight, Christian and roberto managers are very kind and professional. plentiful portions but especially delicious tend to be critical, but I can't find any defect! They also offered us a welcome drink and the bitter!

The reception with arrival sti two was not really beautiful but in the end we were very satisfied, the dinner was pleasant and delicious. the environment looks beautiful and original: a greenhouse? a herbarium? a perfumery? In fact it is evident the reference to spices and herbs and the possibility to use also the purple on the walls works with the type of cuisine proposed. service sometimes a little tense but very kind. choice of sea and land dishes varies and original without crushing, cooked and tasted as a rule of art. plentiful portions but deserves to take two dishes per head. bread proposed in three variants, one more delicious than the other (also white bread is not the classic Tuscan, it was salty and I think with chestnut honey in the pasta). appreciated the prosecco and hummus welcome as well as the hippocrass at the end of the meal. Unfortunately there was brought the wrong wine (which we did not present so I can not penalize for this. My boyfriend said it was okay not knowing that I had chosen a sparkling wine and not a steady rose. I'm also sorry because it was a less expensive wine than I had chosen. However, the wine paper very wide with honest embroidery. we didn't have any waiting problems because we eat chickens at the moment. that before it gets better stays with four stars and not the maximum just because it was rather cold, for all the dinner I could not try myself. even without the discount the fork the price of the dishes goes more than well considering what you eat for the same price nowadays. I returned for the 3rd time, the location was really beautiful and well-kept. The service was excellent, the staff were kind and polite, it's a shame that this time I ate an octopus that was too hard but the rest was delicious like every time I've been there. Absolutely
