Bidrage med feedbackVisited Pietralunga on a sunny day in early October; a lovely town to walk around and we found this delightful restaurant which overlooks the valley. Several locals were already having lunch and we sat outside under the pergola. A varied menu with a wide range of pizzas but we decided to go for the local Umbrian fare. Our shared Frittelle da locanda was light crispy bread two with mozzarella and two without, combined with local meats. Very tasty and not too filling as a starter. We had tagliatelle with porcini and ravioli with radicchio, speck and porcini; both were excellent freshly made pasta with just the right amount of sauce. I had the dessert “tartufo bianco” which was vanilla filled with coffee ice cream in the shape of a truffle! The service was friendly and helpful our waitress spoke excellent English and was happy to answer all our questions and give advice. The two women in the kitchen clearly love cooking and their food was as good as we have had anywhere in the region.
We ate here on the recommendation of our hotel owner. The staff were friendly and attentive, explaining the food in detail. An excellent wine list, including a delicious Montefalco at a very reasonable price. The food was good but nothing special.
The best pizza in the world. Everything else is really good too. Beatrice and Rita are wonderful. The place is busy all days of the week. The locals love the place as well as holiday makers. We came pretty much every night.
Davvero un bel locale con ottima qualità cucina locale ad un prezzo onesto. la ragazza che ci ha servito era veramente buono e competente siamo stati veramente soddisfatti
Non attribuisco i punteggi massimi ma qui tutti ci vogliono: personale cordiale, piatti abbondanti e deliziosi, servizio rapido, alta qualità / rapporto prezzo, davvero consigliato se siete nella zona!
