Terracello - Picton

My husband and I were here over the August long weekend. We did a tasting and decided to stay for lunch when we say the authentic Napoli style pizzas coming out. They only have 3 wines, but they are quality wines. The young lady doing our tasting didn't really know too much about wine or how it was made, would of been nicer to have someone more experienced and knowledgeable about their products. The owner of the winery came out and said hello and made sure the pizza was to our liking. It was absolutely delicious! Be ready to spend $20 + on pizza and $40 + on the bottles of wine they have to offer - but they are, in my opinion, worth it.

This quaint Winery has it all. A beautiful country setting complete with bocce ball, fire pit, and a gorgeous arbour dripping with vines and grapes!This is where we dined on the best pizza. In fact, we went back the next day and brought some pizza home. It's authentic to say the least. All ingredients are from Italy!We enjoyed a glass of wine with our lunch and can't say enough good things about this place. The staff are very friendly and the service was quick.

I've travelled to Italy many times and the pizza at Terracello is as good as over there. (And a little better than Norman Hardy's winery, too.) The staff was friendly and attentive. We came with dogs and we're welcome to sit on the patio as long as we (naturally) kept the dogs away from other tables. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the County.

Sat outdoors on the patio next to the pizza enclosure. Fast service. Small winery so some varieties of wines sold out already! Ordered margherita pizza which came to table quickly. Very thin, crispy crust, lots of mozza, fresh basil leaves - VERY tasty! Gave the al fresco feeling of eating outdoors in Italy. Approx $15 for 12" pizza - enough for 2 ppl at lunch.

I love this place. The pizza is the best pizza you will taste in the new world. That is to say, it tasted exactly like the pizza in Italy. I have been twice and both times I have sat on the patio surrounded by the vineyard, music playing, grapes growing on vines, sipping a blush or the Boca Nero (if you are lucky). The menu is simple: one side is pizza, the other side is the wine selection. The wine is their own and the pizza is handmade in an outdoor oven right next to the vineyard. I love the simplicity, the big flavors of the wine and the delicate flavours of the carefully crafted pizza. It's heaven to me. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. It's fun, casual and has this great energy about it. A jewel among many in Prince Edward County.
