Don Chente Grill - Pico Rivera

Unfortunately, this place did not meet my expectations. While the ambiance is great, everything else fell short. It took at least 20-25/30 minutes just to get drinks from a bar that was not even busy. The food took nearly an hour to come out and when it did, it was just ok. The food is more Mexican fusion than your traditional Mexican food which would normally be ok if one, it was delicious and two, if Pico Rivera was the place to present that type of food, but it’s not. I feel that this place has failed to understand their demographic and will likely be out of business quicker than they started if they don’t make some serious adjustments.

I love to try the different things they have. everything is supported with wonderful taste. the salsa was the first thing I noticed that was very good.

The music was very loud. it hurts me. eating was very good.

I eat out a lot. This was by far one of the worst Mexican restaurant that I have been to in a very long time. The food borders on mediocre and the only redeeming quality was the entertainment. The aesthetic beauty is only there to hide how bad the food Is. I can’t believe that you could not find a cook that could bring an upscale flair to Mexican food!

Not much on the menu. It was not bad but not great.
