This isn't a fine dining restaurant, but the food here surpasses what you'll find in many places that are. We met some friends for dinner, and we can't wait to return! The japchae was the best I've ever had, while my husband enjoyed fried rice topped with an omelette. Our friends ordered kimchi fried rice and a fantastic soup filled with beef, vegetables, and dumplings. The menu has both American and Korean options; our friends also ordered onion rings and edamame to share, which made for a great combination. Don't miss this place! Next time, we definitely want to try their wing burger! (We forgot to take pictures before we started eating!)
I will argue with anyone that this is the best Korean food in Columbus. The only negative is that I don't live right next door so I can have it every day. The stone pot bimbimbap is one of the best things I've ever eaten (and full of veggies! , every appetizer is amazing, and don't get me started on how nice the lady is who works at the front of house. If you're not near Pickerington it's worth the drive and if you are, you better enjoy this place as much as I would if I lived there!
I stopped by for breakfast and had previously visited twice without much success, as the atmosphere and service didn't quite hold my interest long enough to place an order. However, I decided to give it another shot since many Google reviews were positive. The restaurant was clean, and the service was prompt. At 10 AM, there was only one other group dining, which made for a quiet experience. The western omelet was generously filled with toppings. However, the selection of breakfast sides was quite limited. I felt that the prices were a bit high for what’s offered. Ultimately, I might consider coming here again if I want to avoid the morning rush at other nearby restaurants, but I’ll likely continue exploring other small diners instead.
Our family celebrated my daughter's birthday at A&J Wingburger, which she chose for its traditional Korean food. She and her son were genuinely impressed with how delicious the food was! The rest of us opted for the American-style dishes, and they were just as flavorful. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, like a cozy family restaurant. The service was outstanding, making the experience even better! I highly recommend A&J Wingburger for excellent food and a unique dining experience. By the way, the wingburger is just as it sounds—a hamburger topped with boneless wings. My son absolutely loved it!
