Eggcellent Diner - Pickering

I recently tried the All Day Special ($6) at this restaurant and forgot to write about it until I had it again yesterday. It's your typical diner special with eggs, meat, potato, and toast. It's a decent meal for the price, and it's always nice to find good affordable options these days.

I love coming to this small restaurant for breakfast. It can get pretty crowded on weekends, but the food is definitely worth the wait. My go-to order is the three eggs with bacon, home fries, and toast. The dish also comes with a slice of orange and some cantaloupe, a nice added touch. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

We dropped in as we knew things had changed here .and for the better. Our server was Carrie, an asset to this place. Food was nothing special but at the same time was palatable. Eggs were almost as ordered, nice crispy bacon but the homefries were soggy and salty. No excuses as we were the only two there at the time. Coffee was good. Would I go again YES. hope they read this as I was there on Oct 7 2015 at noonish.

This is a diner that's particularly a breakfast spot. Don't expect haute cuisine - it's not. It's just a top notch diner.The value is excellent. The food was very good as was the service. It screams local - there's nothing touristy about the place. Much better alternative than the generic big box stuff you can often find in the burbs. Certainly will return, and may try the lunch stuff. The breakfast were very good.

I was taken to my first breakfast in Ontario after arriving the evening before. The restaurant was disabled friendly with helpful staff. The food was plentiful and delicious. As the name says they specialize in eggs in all its varieties.
