Cora Breakfast & Lunch - Pickering

The food at this location seems more plentiful in terms of the amount of fruit served on each dish compared to other locations in a reasonable driving distance. There was a considerable wait to get into the restaurant, and again for the food, but it was lunch on a holiday.

Food was great, service okay, but the bathroom was not clean, floor sticky and no paper towels. Very disappointed. ..

The food has gone downhill since the chain first opened. The fruit portion is much smaller and not as fresh. We really don't go there as much as we used to. It's expensive, service is slow and the food is not as imaginative and good as it used to be.

I go to Cora's really often, sometimes I get average plates, most of the time great plates but this time was really one to forget... I had the lunch menu beef skillet. Although it said on the menu that it came with a choice of side items, I was never asked what I preferred, it was the server's choice I guess, I didn't specified as the plate showed in the menu was with salad, I assumed it was served like that. It also said I had the choice of soup, juice or dessert. I was only asked if I would take the soup. I specified dessert... Maybe the problem was with my server... Anyway, the skillet was supposed to contain beef and vegetables, there was beef, potatoes, potatoes and traces of something else... And the accompanying side, loads of potatoes... Ridiculous...

We love going to Cora's for breakfast but this location was not impressive. Order the Harvest 1990 special. I always have it! I found my brioche burnt, the end of an unpeeled banana and blackberries after I was specific of my allergies....Seriously people!! My boiled egg was runny as well. The waitress slammed plates down and spilled coffee all over the table. Not our usual experience. Would avoid this location.
