Bidrage med feedbackThe cathedral of the Valencian paella, always uncertain eating in this restaurant, full salad, tiptoe, sepia iron, roman squids, chicken paella and rabbit and desserts to finish with coffees and cheeks, all special and quality-price incomparable, fast and professional service as well as the kitchen of not me tired to go to this restaurant
Correct service, tables with distance. the very good incomings (sepia and croquettes) but the paella insipida, the last peeled rice point, which demolished the food. normal desserts. prices very well, both rations and drink.
Great wood fire paella and good price. The restaurant is not easy to find but it’s worth a stop on your trip!
If you are a foodie then this is the place to go for an authentic paella experience. You do need to book in advance, and when you do the welcome is outstanding. This traditional way of cooking over wood from local orange trees is hard to find. We had the chicken version and the taste was unbelievably fantastic. They also have that magic ingredient love which goes into every dish. This is why the price is so reasonable. Though they do offer tapas to start which are good, if you want to do justice to the Paella, just order the salad as your appetizer. You can visit the kitchen too. We travelled by metro from the centre of Valencia and it took about 30 mins. Carmina, the boss will pick you up from the metro station (if you ask nicely!! . It was such a great experience and a world away from the rice offered in Valencia town. Be sure you allow time for it- it is truly fabulous!
Based on reviews from Tripadvisor we visited this restaurant while travelling south from Rioja. Very disappointing! We arrived at around two, normal Spanish lunch time, to be met by a literally empty restaurant and were asked if we had booked!!! We were then informed that the restaurants paella speciality had to be booked in advance and wasn't available. The choices we made from the menu were all pretty poor and if you are travelling through the region and looking for a restaurant near the motorway, keep goin would be my advice.
