Siamo stati accolti col sorriso e con la gentilezza. Splendida esperienza, locale confortevole, pulito e riscaldato, abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Particolare accortezza per il senza glutine, hanno fatto di tutto per avere un ottimo menù, nonostante avessimo prenotato in giornata,molto soddisfatta. Il vino buonissimo. Grazie ragazzi e, siete stati il top.
This is a lovely off the beaten track restaurant. Excellent food, great value and very helpful and friendly, even though we don’t speak Italian. Well worth a visit. Wine was excellent also and home grown.
Quiet dishes, delicious, rustic-binding atmosphere
A touching story is connected to this 17th century farmhouse. In short: it was confiscated from a mafia boss and is now run by a cooperative. The main hall has very high ceilings, and so had our spatious room. Emilio cooks in a creative way, rooted in tradition. He uses local ingredients, mostly organic/biological, and these products can also be bought at the farmhouse. We had some great antipasti, primi and secundi. The slow food movement will surely approve. After a hike in the mountains, nothing tastes better than drinking their own Centopassi wine on the terrace enjoying the stunning mountain view. The white wines are gorgeous! We only wish our comprehension of the Italian language was better, because the people here have fascinating stories to tell. We had a very welcoming stay, and recommend Portella della Ginestra wholeheartedly.
