Pod Food - PIALLIGO

Presentation, staff knowledge, and quality was exceptional. Great mood lighting for a dinner occassion. We ordered the duck confit, roasted beetroot and cheese, spiced lamb, fennel salmon, rock salt bakes potatoes, and salted peanut mousse. Only criticism would be the lamb and duck could be served hotter. Overall, great quality food sources from local produce.

When paying $$$ for a nice dining experience, you expect the best -- beautiful food, attentive yet unobtrusive quality service, nice ambience, comfortable surrounds -- and Pod Food in Piallago has it all. Have never been disappointed after several visits, lunch, dinner or breakfast, it's a lovely spot. Fresh, seasonal, local produce with a new menu every time we've visited, expertly cooked and presented. There are many high-priced alternatives in Canberra who don't even come close to the attention to detail, so this is definitely near the top of the pile for a good dining experience -- try it out!

Oh my goodness, what an amazing meal! We had the five course degustation and loved every flavour. The duck, especially, was to die for. Service was excellent. All round a great evening.

Food was exceptional, staff delightful and atmosphere relaxed. Favourite dish by far ricotta donuts with spiced pumpkin ice cream. Divine!! Perfect Sunday lunch location for big or small groups.

Great food, amazing service, and friendly staff. I broke my wine glass, and they gave me a free one afterwards! How lovely it was! Therefore, we decided to tip in the end.
