Filomena Cucina Rustica In West Berl

Well....we finally are giving up on the Berlin location. We had our last meal there tonight. Christina our server was awesome...the food was awful. Surf and turf the surf was dry and tasteless and the turf was suspect on being filet or not... and the Diablo was loaded with uncooked peppers and rubber seafood. Owner came over and was arguing with us about the fish was caught fresh this morning. No way.......after 3 decades of special events happy hours and family dinners we are done. Shame because it was so close to us and we love Giovanni. I guess it's a sign of the time. We are now making the truck to the Lakeside location in deptford

Our eight-member book club had our summer meeting today at Filomena’s- an annual tradition. Pepe made sure we had a quiet, comfortable place to share good conversation and have a delicious lunch. Our waitress, Michelle, was incredibly accommodating and eager to please. What an enjoyable experience!

We had such a lovely experience when we visited on Friday 8/9. My gnocchi was pillowy and the crab chunks were large and succulent. My husband enjoyed his lobster ravioli. The desert was a bit rich, but absolutely delightful. The service was speedy and attentive.

Love to eat here! Traci has been our waitress the last two times we have visited. Dining experience is heavily dependent on the waiting staff and she does an absolutely wonderful job!

Amazing place with ambience for this type dinner. Our server Devin is really a nice and courteous person. We were thinking to leave as we were unable to see some nice fish and vege dishes as we can’t eat the other meat dishes but Mr. Devin suggested us the dishes and those dishes were really delicious. We ordered Bruschetta and one fish dish. Both were yummy. Thinking to return back to this restaurant.
