Bidrage med feedbackThe name says everything: Tacos Tequila Whiskey! This is a beautiful Arcadia neighborhood spot with friendly, attentive service and good food. Started with Chicken Chicharrones, deep fried chicken (and several salsas you can choose). I thought they were a bit overdue, but I loved the combination with the spicy pickled onion served on the side. Our friendly server Lacey recommended 3 tacos per person; but with an appetizer I would have had only two. I enjoyed the Pollo Molcajete: the combination of grilled chicken and cale salad was refreshing and not as hard as some of the other options. The Fish-N-Beer Tacos were also very good, but I felt that the avocado pineapple combination was a little too sweet for my taste. Finally I tried the Pollo Agave: roasted chicken in a pleasant green Mexican chimichurri sauce. It was very good. As a nice surprise I ended up with a free margarita due to a mix at the bar. It was fantastic, and definitely high-end tequila. Overall good experience, although their “hot” salsa was not really hot to this seasoned Arizonian. I would go back, especially for Margarita’s!
I love this place! I've been here three times. The tacos are street tacos, so they're small and come with two corstortillas. The price is about four dollars a taco, such a kind of price. I'm not a big fan of Tequila (young party days), but you could hardly taste the Tequila. You could taste it, but it was smooth. My favorite tacos must be the pig bell, carnitas and the shrimp. Get them and you won't be disappointed. Also the bartender Juvier (I believe) is great. He's very informative and you can say he likes his job. The guacamole and chips are good and so is the cheese dip, but you need to eat the cheese quickly because it begins to cure. Overall, this is my job when I bless Tacos.
Here for the restaurant week. The tacos were excellent. The Queso-Dip was great. They also had Bell’s Two-Hearted, a fantastic beer! I can't wait to go back. If you go like this, please do yourself a favor and try at least one of the chicken tacos. I'm usually a steak taco/burrito type, but the chicken was the best taco I ever had in my life. Always trust a fat guys food recommendations.
Amazing street tacos. We have our food to go and it was still amazing when we came back to the hotel. The fried Kojita Taco was my favorite.
Wow factor on the taco menu and mixed drinks for their complexity but not over busy that your mouth is confused. I had to slow my roll on my awesome margarita because it was too tasty. Refreshing and spicy! I 'm in love
