Pete's Fish Chips - Phoenix

I ordered the fried fish and shrimp combo with fries, and it was incredibly disappointing. I won't be returning, and I truly don't understand how this place has so many stars.

CASH ONLY - ATM available on-site. This restaurant has been a beloved local tradition for many years. I recommend the three-piece fish and chips with extra sauce, and if you're really hungry, consider adding some shrimp. Parking can be a challenge, especially during lunchtime, as the lot is quite small.

I really enjoy this Pete's location for the crispy texture of the shrimp! Everything else is great, but I don't understand why they had to change the sauce—it was terrible! It really detracted from the deliciousness of the crunchy shrimp!

This place is sooooooo nasty and dirty!!! Don't eat here unless you wanna eat with the homeless who hoard around you while you eat outside on thier dirty nasty tables and the whole area smells like **** from the homeless peeing everywhere it's gross!!! Stay away unless you want disease.

This place tastes like a fart wrapped in a turd sandwich My question to the community is how is this place still in business? Did the owners sit down and say let's corner the frozen fish stick market?
