It’s unfortunate that the customer service was so bad because the food was actually pretty good. We placed an order over the phone for pickup. They said it would be ready in 25 minutes. We showed up 35 minutes later. It was not ready. They said it would be ready soon. It was very clear they hadn’t started it yet but just wouldn’t admit their mistake. We had to sit there and wait for 25 minutes in the Phoenix summer with a newborn in the car waiting for a pizza to be made that they screwed up. Was very disappointed and we were not offered any sort of discount or anything to make this right. I would also add that this was a Thursday night and they were not busy. We would not return.

I ordered the ravioli and it was very delicious however I also ordered the gnocchi Al pesto and it was a little over cooked.. still ate it though and with the wine well I had a good experience. The atmosphere is very calming and relaxing almost classy. The staff was very prompt to take my order and didn’t just leave me waiting very long. I am for sure coming back for some more ravioli ?

This used to be one of my husband and I 's favorite places in Laveen, but lately, things just feel off. Portion sizes have changed despite prices remaining the same, and I have noticed inconsistencies with their recipes. Some days, certain pastas are super full almost too full), and other days, they 're barely filled. In the past, I have ordered a drink and watched the bartender look up the recipe, just to receive different versions each time I return. Tonight, we ordered two of our favorite appetizers, only to learn that one had smaller portions than before, and another had a marinara sauce so spicy it was uncomfortable to eat. The wait staff on this particular night was also very aloof and were having some interesting conversations. All in all, it made the incredibly uncomfortable seating even more noticeable normally we ignore it for the high-quality food and service), and we left quite disappointed with what we received/experienced compared to how much we had to pay. This definitely did not feel like the same Mimi Forno that we come to for birthdays, anniversaries, and other celebrations. :
