Bidrage med feedbackIt was good! The side salad was much smaller than last time. Quite disappointed. They were very small. Hardly any lettuce. One cucumber and pieces of tomato. No crotons-they were good last time. (We were just there at the end of April. The strawberry shortcake dessert was very dry and there were hardly any strawberries on it. They also used to put a lot of whipped cream-this time just a dollop in the middle. We have been going to this restaurant for 16 years and we know how things have been and it's just a bummer when quality decreases. That dessert is my absolute favorite, so it's sad when it's not up to par. My chili was good. My partner's ribeye was good. He said the majority had flavor and just the last 1/4 of it didn't have any seasoning. He just wished they seasoned it evenly. Thanks for reading this. Our server was wonderful. Didn't rush us at all. We appreciated that. And we loved sitting in the bar area!! So pretty!
Only downfall was the steak my wife ordered was medium well rather than medium rare. Which our waiter agreed with. My wife decided it was still so delicious she would keep it and they comped dessert. Other than that everything was wonderful. Food so good, service outstanding!
I have lived in AZ all my life and have never been here. This was our first time and it was such a great experience. The food was absolutely amazing and so was the service. I highly recommend this restaurant
This Arizona Restaurant Week was my first visit to The Stockyards Restaurant 1889 Saloon, and it lived up to its reputation as Arizona's original steakhouse! The cuisine, service, and atmosphere made for fine dining at its best. The steak soup was an amazing starter. The filet mignon was perfect on its own, but it came with a side of Béarnaise sauce that was a nice touch. The parmesan potatoes may be the best potatoes I've ever had anywhere. Dessert was great too... The chocolate mousse was nice, however, the pecan pie was homemade, melt-in-your-mouth good! As I said, this was my first visit, it will definitely not be the last.
Food came out cold. Prime rib was mostly fat. Desserts were low quality. Server was fine at first but as restaurant got busier, server was non attentive to our table. Only good food was the appetizer.
