The Original La Canasta Mexican Food

Awesome! Food is incredible and everyone is so kind!!!

This has been the best mexican place we have eaten at so far! I wish I had taken a picture of the original plate before digging into it. Great size portion, and their tamale were a huge portion!

Food was okay I ordered a Chile relleno with rice and beans disappointed with my chili relleno it was all egg and a slice of chili I felt like I got cheated ?

Was a bit disappointing the quality, service and the place has not improved at all in the last few years. The food is fine for a quick Mexican meal it's just average at best.

La Canasta is my Mothers favorite place. She grew up in the neighborhood worked there when she was 18 years old. I try to bring her once every few months. The visit never fails it always hits the spot. The food is always fabulous We all had green burritos enchilada style.
