Bidrage med feedbackThe Nosh Cafe always delivers delicious food and a top notch service experience.Laura is truly an outstanding owner she constantly seeks feedback from her customers. I highly recommend The Nosh.My favorite: PB and J on a plain bagel, toasted. Yeah, baby!
*Edited*Disappointed in the service, good food overall. I messed up and ordered granola when I wanted the parfait. I was digging through my bowl wondering where the yogurt was. On top of that, I guess it was supposed to come with milk. It didn 't. Just a bowl full of granola.I went up and told them my mistake to ask if I could buy a side of yogurt. They basically said too bad and I 'd have to buy the $9 parfait to get what I wanted. I told them I already have a bowl of granola and don 't need any more, just the yogurt. Sorry, can 't help you. That 's their right, I get it, and it was my mistake. It 's disappointing though. Even though it 's an order at the counter place, I always tip, and I come every Friday with my daughter before school. I 'll be finding another place now.Edit: I appreciate the response from the owner and the additional information of them having new hires. Looking back on the incident, I do not believe that anyone was intentionally dismissive or rude. I believe the employee didn 't feel empowered to help with my request or know how to handle it. I should have asked for the manager, but it was early and I was tired, disappointed and frustrated. The first few times I came in were wonderful, and I plan to give it another try.
I live out of state. My first stop anytime I come to AZ is The Nosh. The owners are awesome, and the hardest workers I've ever met! Their team is professional, the restaurant is clean, and the food is amazing!
Fabulous breakfast. Taste is impeccable and quantity is above and beyond. 2 meals from one on anything you order- even a kids meal. Friendliness of service could improve, but for a to go order it wasn’t a major issue.
Edit: Changed rating to 3 because of the reply. Thank you for your explanation. I do believe that the possible misconception of the app should have been accounted for before signing up to use the app. No refund needed, I appreciate your response.I do want to say it isn 't a 5 because it shouldn 't be put on your customer to ask for a manger if the employee is confused. If the employee doesn 't know what is going on THEY should ask their manager the customer doesn 't know what you intend to include in something labeled surprise. As a manager myself, this is a very rude response and deflects the responsiblity you have as a business owner to keep your staff up to date on your policies.Original Post: So I have had food from here twice, both solid food experiences, crowded but I did pickup so didn 't have much of a line. Today I used the app TooGoodToGo First time using the app, went with a familiar option (Nosh). Their pickup window is 1250 120 I got there at 110 so a bit late. When walking in, people staired and slowly approached me When mentioning the app I was using the guy seemed very confused and gave me very odd looks Once I explained to him and showed him the app he told me to grab a single bag of 4 bagels I paid $5 for the surprise bag, not expecting much but expecting $5 worth of food since it is advertised as being $15 but having price slashed to $4.99. I do not feel that these 4 (being a tad dramatic here) stale/day old bagels is worth the $15 you advertise it is worth.TLDR: Felt judged for using a discount app Had to explain to the staff what the app was don 't feel I was given the worth that was advertised to me.A lot of this was my perception of the situation I believe the employee was just confused May not have had judgement but with how quickly he handled the situation i didn 't feel helped and felt rushed.
