Caliente Mexican Grill - Phoenix

This place is my go to for after work drinks and dinner! At least twice a month I meet a friend here after work. The service is always great and the food is delicious! Staff genuinely cares about their customers and it is a lovely and comfortable place to be! Always leave with a full belly and a smile!

Walked in to location in N. PHX. It smelled like authentic sewer gas. Yum. Some guy was sitting in the corner licking his chops with a menu in hand. I wanted out pronto, so I asked for a menu to take home. Could not imagine eating anything from there. The lady took a good five minutes to retrieve the take home paper menu. I just wanted out without looking like a jerk but I was left nearly puking from the stench. There is no going nose blind in this place. How could anyone work there let alone eat?

This place is terrible. We came because of the high reviews they charged my husband our food and my husband tipped and THEN the guy lets him know oh ya bro sorry we only had 3 jalapeño poppers left. Uhhh okay so REFUND US? The salsa was at the bottom of the bag, all opened and got everywhere. Food is not seasoned and we are having to season it ourselves. Barely any meat in my burrito when we paid for extra meat. Disgusting food and disgusting service. Never coming back here again. We spend our hard earned money for what???

I can't say enough good things about this business; the food is fresh and cooked right in front of you, and the service is exceptional; they literally treat you like family. In my honest and humble opinion, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Arizona. The food is tasty and delicious! Highly recommended.
