Suraya - Philadelphia

What a fantastic restaurant! The atmosphere is wonderful, the service is exceptional, and the food is delicious. I visited with my family for brunch, and the tasting menu was outstanding. The chai latte might just be the best I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to try the broth basket with its assortment of baked goods—it’s a must! Be sure to make reservations, and the bonus is that they have parking available, so there’s nothing to worry about.

We loved the Vibe decoration in this sophisticated, trendy restaurant. we waited for our friends at the indoor bar, which was the only critique. while we were able to find 2 seats, I would have preferred to wait on the outside bar, but we were told it was just a service bar. the outside area is beautiful, but apparently they can only get drinks and appetizers out there. yet our food was delicious from beginning to end. I loved the baba ganoush mezza, the hummous, and the raw yellow ****. the grilled breanzino filet was perfectly cooked, and I was thrilled that the red pfeffer sauce was a little spicy. what a welcome change! also the service was impeccable. we were impressed by the big employees.

The restaurant has a wonderful open layout with a spectacular free space in the back. the sunset flooded into the restaurant. we ordered several appetizers that shared with the table. your secret Pita recipe must be unlocked! the lamm kebab so delicate and tasteful ordered. the cocktails are kreatiw and tasty and the wine they have paired was very good. Even a photo made to find it hopefully in the shop for home use. we were there for hours and the waiting staff and the management came all night to take care of us. suraya was not only a meal, but a culinary journey and experience!

We celebrated our anniversary at Suraya and had a wonderful dining experience. We began with the chef's tasting menu as an appetizer, which was spectacular and introduced us to a delightful array of new flavors. However, we were somewhat disappointed with our main courses, the Branzino and lamb. This is why I'm giving the restaurant four stars. Don’t get me wrong—the entrees were very good, but they didn’t quite meet our high expectations of being the "best in Philly." Additionally, I would recommend dining outside, as we felt a bit cramped at the indoor tables.

My husband and I were in Philly to celebrate our anniversary. We chose Suraya because it was highly recommended by a friend. It did not disappoint. Everything about this place was phenomenal. The decor was elegant and inviting. The customer service was top notch. Our server was super attentive and knowledgeable. It was such amazing culinary dining experience from beginning to end. We did tasting menu which is required on Friday or Saturday night. From presentation to flavor, every bite was exceptional. I highly recommend going here.
