Smokin' Betty's - Philadelphia

There we were for a birthday dinner and our server has never mentioned their names. one of my friends did not like their meal and she asked to take it back to the server, told us that she had to pay for the meal she had already had and the new one she wanted to order. the manager was called immediately and instead of diffusing the situation she asked “why would they order something they don’t like?” that is our first time so it was quite surprising for them to say. my friend said that she would like a buffalo chicken sandwich and the manager answered and said: "why don't they try out one of their friends chicken sandwiches before they order it, only for the case that they decide to send it back". that was horrific to come from someone to show under their establishment. I know exactly what's good because I'm a server myself and smoking is not represented in decent wise. I felt like we were targeted because we were a group of young black adults who sacrificed passive aggressive racism. I will never return to this terrible restaurant.

Had a great lunch. prefer the bar area. large sandwiches

The ambiente is good. eating is cheap and always delicious.

Great menu! Unfortunately, we were there on a weeknight and the service was underwhelming.

Went for Sunday brunch and it was great! The food was amazing and all the staff were super friendly
