Bidrage med feedbackReggae Reggae Vibes is my top choice for authentic Jamaican cuisine. They don’t over-season or over-salt their dishes—just amazing flavor and taste. I love it and usually eat there about twice a week!
The fried fish was decent, but unfortunately, the jerk chicken was quite disappointing— it tasted old and unappetizing. The short ribs were also tough and seemed stale, despite being covered in sauce. The mac and cheese lacked flavor and I couldn't detect any cheese at all. Overall, I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again. I can understand why people prefer to stick with familiar options. It was a poor choice on my part... if it weren’t for the fried fish, I would have given zero stars. They really need to reassess their cooking because what they’re serving is simply not good.
I ordered the veggie wrap with cabbage since they ran out of callaloo, and it was absolutely delicious! I’ve never had a wrap that included plantain before. It’s a fantastic option for vegetarians and vegans.
In all my years of living on the east coast I have NEVER experienced a Jamaican spot that had listed menu items STILL IN STOCK with POLITE STAFF. You know the saying). With that being said the food was amazing, I dined here twice on a 3 day stay. The city of Brotherly Love was a great experience from the people to the food. Pick any item your Eyes, Nose, Mouth and Stomach will be highly satisfied. It's worth taking the Amtrack back here to Philly.
I was skeptical because of the reviews but decided to try it out. I ordered a Snapper dinner around 9pm. It was made to order, fresh, well seasoned and delicious. Darcell took my order and it was on point. I?d definitely return. #NY/Ja visitor
