Mount Airy Tap Room - Philadelphia

This is a great neighborhood spot! Loved our cocktails and as Southerner?s we were very impressed with the shrimp po?boy.

We've loved this space since it was Goat Hollow, and it's about the same, minus the wood burning stove (which we really miss in the winter!! . The menu is solid. I keep ordering the Bahn Mi hoping that it'll have more flavor, but it's always oddly bland and kind of dry. Otherwise, a great visit with great service.

Horrible service!! The waitress was insanely rude. Food was not good, nothing was seasoned and took forever to come !! Nobody came to check on us or once came to fill our water. (It wasn?t even that busy) Took forever to get our check and even longer to get our change. Saw a mouse running up the walls outside in the courtyard. I will never go back!!

Unfortunately didn?t get to try the food. We sat at 6:45 and by 8pm no appetizers in sight so we left. We noticed many other diners asking about their food, too, and just as we were leaving we noticed the party seated before us had just received an appetizer. Staff was nice! Hopefully just an off night? Not sure if we will return.

Great place. The food is good, along with the service. Don't forget your coffee or dessert. The place has nice indoor and outdoor dining room spaces.
