Moshulu - Philadelphia

There are few restaurants that offer this kind of atmosphere and service. For me the service was beyond fulfilling and even to say it was nearly the best if not THE best I have ever experienced in the Philadelphia area. I came for Brunch and spoiled myself with their cracake. These are REAL crabcakes, not ones filled with bread. The chef clearly takes pride in their preparation and display, as they were heavenly. The hosts were pleasant, experienced, and very professional. The attention they gave to me seemed that I was the only one there as I stood in line. The restaurant is clean , well maintained and even to say truly an old salt feel. My server Jillian was beyond attentive to detail, served with excellence, and clearly well prepared for the day. At no time was I rushed, or subjected to a bums rush by giving me the check early, so I would move along . I would rather pay a little more for fine dining like this, where I can enjoy the food, company and atmosphere, than to be served and out the door in 45 mins....gawd I hate that. I recommend this excellent establishment, (hmmmmm or should I say fine old ship.... . If you like fine dining, great service and other pleasantries this is the place for you. Thank you for such an amazing experience that gave me hope for Philadelphia 's comeback for fine dining. see you again soon. -Jeff

I attended latin night two Saturday's ago. And the music was great. But the drinks were just way too expensive. 2 canned caronas not even cold was $24. Overall music was freat. But the drinks were too expensive.

Fresh fish and patio table with views of the fresh water. Can't get much better than that!
