Mission Bbq - Philadelphia

Pretty and unique inside. This is actually my first experience in the BBQ mission. I wish they could have the Ribeye Steak Special today. But depending on the staff, the black plate changes monthly. This month is meat pig. Another disappointment was that they don't have the baby back ribs. You're out of it today. Sad. So I tried their spare ribs that were not too bad. I just wish it was a little sensible. My guess is that I would like the baby back rib more than the replacement rib. I also ordered two orders from the 3 meat plate. I personally like the Jalapeño and Cheese sausage about the classic. The pulled pig was fine. The bride felt a little dry for me. About food taste average but the service was excellent! The staff were very friendly, helpful and friendly with my little ones, although they gave the stranger danger reactions. But the staff was very understanding. I hope I can try her steak the next time I revisit.

Suprised it's not busier, food is fantastic, prices are good and staff is friendly. Brisket Sandwich dares well.

I never expected it to be like a self-servant, but it's great. The food is delicious and the people were nice. I get the Brisket and Mac and Cheese

I had another positive experience in the Barbecue mission yesterday that I had to write a review about it! They are professional, respectful, caring and friendly people who go far and beyond there tasks! The food is very good also beautiful size components! good atmosphere and a clean positive environment! As soon as you walk into the restaurant the smell of delicious smokey meats hits you. All of the workers were friendly and helpful. We ordered the smoked rib eye steak and salmon. The salmon was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The rib eye was tender and flavorful. The steak could of used just a hint more seasoning but was good non the less. The restaurant was clean and the employees were busy cleaning on their downtime. Will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items.
