Bidrage med feedbackAfter eating some for dinner, I discovered plastic in my tofu fish when I was finishing it for lunch the next day and I had definitely ingested some. It was almost impossible to see and as if it had been chopped with a vegetable. I thought it was some kind of skin on a veggie, or something like that. For the price of it, you really can't be making these kinds of mistakes. I loved the food before this, I'm upset that I won't be able to bring myself to eat it ever again.
Hiii there.... Being a European citizen, makes me look at Chinese food at a certain way... Most of the time is a lot and very basic. My fiance, who is a good and travel writer, suggested to pay Han a visit .... At my age, 57, eaten a lot , tasting different levels and active in kitchens for 30+years , I have to humbly bow my head and put them on a devided first place of Chinese food I ever had... Very, very nice.... well spiced, very nice prepared.... really woooooooooow... Loved it..... And being there with the love of my life made it complete.... This is life worth living... Thanks Han... Enjoy...
Han dynasty is my favorite restaurant EVER since I tried it almost 10 years ago. I dined in at this location for the first time usually do take out or dine in at old city or cherry hill and I got Dan Dan noodles as one of our plates. They weren’t spicy at all so I asked for another order of Dan Dan noodles to go for later yes they are that good lol and asked for Extra Spicy, but I ate them tonight and they still had no spice : less spice than a regular order at other locations. still 5 stars though because this place is amazing! :
The food here is really good. My favorite is the Dan Dan noodles but when you ask for it to go, the amount of meat they give you fits into a container slightly larger than a thimble. You’ve been forewarned. I now live in Maryland and longed for the Dan Dan noodles. My friend who lives in Philadelphia brought me some and I felt disrespected when I saw the amount of meat that they put in the container.
Since we moved to the neighborhood two years ago we been ordering a take out once or twice a month ... i can definitely tell the difference in the food quality and taste lately. Before this i was a very loyal customer to the university city location for about 7-8 years and since they open in 37th and market st . I don’t know what went off in the Manayunk location but definitely something is not right . Specially for someone like us who order pretty much the same dishes all this years now . I know this might not be a big deal to a lot of people but i can tell the difference also from the boxes of food they were all oily and messy and have peoples fingers prints . Not i what i used to from Han dynasty!!!
