We didn't get the chance to try their beef short ribs because the menu was changed for the second restaurant week offer. We ordered every selections on the lunch menu and shared among ourselves. The appetizers were very good especially the Gnocchi that had just the right texture. Our entrees seared tuna was cooked to perfection. However, the carbonara pasta was a little dried even after mixing in the egg yolk. Overall, most of our the dishes were excellent and they were accompanied with outstanding services. We will be back to try something else on their regular menu.
My wife were in Philly for our Wedding Anniversary. We made reservations here and were extremely pleased with our experience. This place is outstanding. The restaurant is on the second floor and you take an elevator to get upstairs. Once upstairs the decor is beautiful. There is a Bar with a large open dining area. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. The food from appetizer to dessert was phenomenal. This is a great restaurant.
I have been going to Davio’s for 10+ years and never had a bad experience! I personally feel that they not only have some of the best Italian food in the city in addition to having some of the best steaks that a Philly has to offer. The service is impeccable, the staff here is truly top notch, they’ve executed dinners with myself and 1 guest just as flawlessly as they have groups of up to 20 of us! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and is kept immaculately clean. You’d be hard pressed to find another restaurant in Philadelphia or any other major city that has been open as long as Davio’s and keeps the menu fresh and interesting while consistently delivering top notch service. If I had to name one Philadelphia restaurant as my favorite it’d be Davio’s.!
We had a business dinner in the city and I selected Davios because I like the restaurant in King of Prussia. The city version did not disappoint. Service was excellent and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. There was a little problem with the single elevator you need to take to gain entrance but everyone survived that! The food was terrific and I enjoyed the popovers, the scallops and risotto, and the light chocolate dessert!

However, the Carbonara Pasta was dried slightly even after mixing in the egg yolk. Overall, most of our dishes were excellent and were accompanied with excellent services. We will try something else on their regular menu again.
