Don’t even look at the menu. Just get the marinated pork tacos. Best tacos I’ve ever had!!!
The food is exquisite, service super friendly, in a chill, welcoming atmosphere. Portions are what you’d expect for a high end Mexican restaurant ample, but you might not have leftovers. The quality of the food is what you’d expect from a 5 star restaurant, but the price is totally normal for a regular Philly Mexican spot. We came in close to closing and they still sat and served us even though we said we were happy to do takeout. The way the manager treated our server just really shone, this is a place with good work culture in addition to excellent service. I’ll definitely be back.
Is the masa fresh? Considering that they grind the soaked corn by hand right in front of you... yes it IS! it results in the most unique tortillas I’ve ever tasted! This place is a treasure. Everything is spiced perfectly... heat but no burn! Guac, esquites, ceviche, tostados... all too die for! Add great, friendly service... this is an amazing find!
