Buddakan - Philadelphia

I really enjoy the atmosphere here, and the service is outstanding. My favorite dish is the edamame dumpling because the filling is so flavorful. Their lobster fried rice is also amazing, infused with the delightful sweetness of the lobster.

The food here is consistently excellent. The ginger and chicken dumplings are fantastic, and the sashimi is incredibly fresh and delicious. The wasabi tuna also stands out as a great choice. I particularly enjoy the lobster fried rice. The atmosphere is lovely, though I definitely prefer the downstairs area over upstairs. One downside is that service can be a bit slow; for instance, we waited about 10 minutes for our first drinks, and the entrees were served at different times, with the second entrée arriving on a hot plate, indicating it had been sitting for a while.

Excellent location in center city. Reserved a table online. It was dark in there so I used a candle to illuminate the menu. Took the stairs to the second level dining room. Zengria and sake flight were exquisite. My order of Korean beef with kimchi and egg was delightful. My party had a pleasant evening at this restaurant. 9.5/10
