Bridge Waters Club - Philadelphia

Work bestie and I cheat on our health plans every other Friday! Today we also splurged on cost as well as calories. Service sweet but food takes a while I never blame the sever when the food takes a while. We knew that this place runs slow which is counterintuitive for a train station restaurant location. I wish they'd pick up the food prep pace because it was very good. Food 5/5 We both ordered burgers. They don't ask you the temp and it comes out well done. I don't mind well done burgers but keep that in mind when you order a burger there. Fries were perfectly cooked and everything was fresh and delicious. IMO the dish needs for the tomato confit to be served as a side and the platter needs a pickle but it's still really good. So if you have the time to spare for a leisurely meal or drink, go there.

A decent place to grab a drink . . . of five while waiting for your train. The service was pretty fast and the drinks were very well priced. Also, Bridgewater has a decent happy hour. Plus, the pub does not seem to have a minimum for cards so one can literally get in, down a beverage, pay, and hop on his/her train.

Had difficult travel plans and so I came into this bar to diffuse and the bartender (according to the receipt his name is Devitt) has made my initial experience into philly a memorable one . Super patient and lovely , although I was a raging ****. Good vibes have been passed around. Thank you and yes i will return on my way back.

I stopped in here with hubs because we had a layover. I got an IPA and probably the best chicken sammich I ever had. It was a grilled chicken breast, wilted spinach, crispy onion strings, cheddar cheese, AND bacon aioli. That thing was darn delicious. I normally don't get chicken sammiches in restaurants because they are usually dry or smothered with way too much mayo. This one was beauteous. Josh had a lovely caprese salad and stole my fries...but that always happens : We sat at the bar, and service was prompt and pretty good. No issues there at all (au contraire to the reviews below... .

Great little pub with affordable prices and courteous staff that I found on my way back to catch the megabus back to NYC. Definitely coming back here again on my next visit to Philly.
