Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant has a lovely interior, and I really like the station theme. The breakfast options are decent, and the prices are reasonable. I ordered huevos rancheros for $5.99, which includes two eggs, potatoes, refried beans, and a fried corn tortilla (with bacon as an extra). The eggs were cooked almost perfectly over medium, and the salsa was tasty. The beans were fine, but the potatoes were just warm and a bit soggy with no seasoning, making them quite bland. The refried tortilla beneath the eggs was pretty good, but the bacon was disappointing—it had a strange flavor, wasn’t warm, and was tough; I really didn’t care for it. The flour tortilla I received was very hard and poorly made, while the corn tortillas, on the other hand, were quite good. The staff was very friendly, and the place was relatively clean. Overall, it’s a decent spot for breakfast. Considering the price, I would suggest adding a piece of bacon, sausage, or ham for a little extra protein on the plate.
This is one of the best little cafés in Texas, conveniently located in Pharr, TX, right by the welcome sign. The menudo was among the best I've ever tasted. Although the café appears small from the outside, it has a spacious interior. The décor is charming, and the staff was very friendly. The beans were delicious. The oatmeal was served in a large bowl with a variety of tasty toppings on the side. I will definitely add this place to my must-visit list whenever I'm in the Rio Grande Valley.
We had a large group and they quickly accommodated us. Our server did an excellent job of tracking everyone's orders and stayed composed the whole time. We were all very impressed and made sure to let her know. The food was fantastic, too. I will definitely return the next time I'm in town.
I've had plenty of Carne Guisada plates in my lifetime, but the Carne Guisada at Junction Cafe was hands down, the most delicious I've ever tasted! My sister and I were blown out of this world!! Go get you some!!!
The food is actually good. And the restaurant is nice. But if the old lady is there she will ruin your experience. She?s a drama queen. She creates a scene constantly. She sits in the corner and screams and yells and talks so loud that no one in the restaurant can enjoy themselves. Shasta Briggs and her dog. Gross Unfortunately she?s one of the owners so?..
