The best restaurant in the whole place , amazing food , amazing people , feeling of real italy!!!!! Very very beautiful and good place

We were looking for a restaurant in the area and stumbled across this on TripAdvisor. I cannot praise this restaurant enough. It is hidden in a maze of alleys in a bucolic hilltop village. The first thing you see are all the adorable cats and kittens playing outside the restaurant. Inside the welcome is very warm like entering the house of a friend. The wife works front of house whilst her husband cooks but both come out to say hello. And then the food starts coming ..... it really is quite exceptional. No menu, just what is available and in season although they were able to make a quick adjustment for a vegetarian in the party (I think if you have any dietary requirements just let them know in advance). Course after course of the most delicious but simple food aubergine with chocolate, omelet with marjoram, beef with anchovies. It was all perfectly cooked and unfailingly excellent. What is more astounding is the price €25 for a 9 course meal! Worth the drive for sure.

This is a restaurant that uses only local ingredients the furthest an ingredient traveled was from the next village. The ingredients are simply prepared, and the quality and care shine through in the meal. Meals are leisurely, and relaxed. The chef and his wife are ever present and gracious. The restaurant is very vegetarian friendly. There are also numerous cats on the outside terrace that delight both children and adults.

Fantastic experience. small but cozy place where you feel fundamentally at home. the products are absolutely of first quality. dishes, often looking for old traditions, never betray. the quantities are not from tractors, but the loads so many that rise from table absolutely satisfied. all pampered by the presence of the owners really pleasant and helpful. We'll definitely come back.

Minimal courses, good without doubt nothing new, squeezed and counted appetizer, we were in 8 and eight very thin slices of salami eight micro meatballs eight pieces of cheese eight slices of high frittata 8 micron, a plate of pasta for 8 portions miserable and finally two touches of potatoes in the oven and a second almost not existing in the true sense of the term a single second to eat it. sweet good but very salty account37,5 in the mouth. for the great hunger in the evening we went to the pizzeria. There won't be a second time. goodbye
