The Pasty Place - Petoskey

I've been trying this place for some time, but don't go very often to downtown. Today I must finally! Although they had no grilled sandwiches, I didn't care how I just wanted to try a variety of different cheeses. First the customer service was great! She knew exactly what each cheese was and explained it very well. She was excited to show me various cheese dishes and you could say she was proud of her work and that it is her passion. I was very excited to try the cheese and the Salami tray and had very high expectations... I wasn't disappointed! The variety of cheeses had so good taste and the textures were amazing. I will definitely be back! I am a cheese lover and this place will often visit on my list! This is a must for everyone who loves cheese!

I ordered three cheese dishes from Petoskey Cheese for my husband and August Elopement, and they were the ultimate hit on our appetizer table. Our family and friends couldn't stop talking about them! Katie was so friendly and informative to help me place the order, and included a variety of amazing cheese that everyone was thrilled to taste (the double cream Brie is everything!! I would order from Petoskey Cheese again in a heartbeat!

This place was highly recommended by several friends. It's a small store on E. Mitchell in Petoskey. We've tried several cheeses and all just bought one. We bought Prairie Breeze Cheddar, Porter Marbled, Mango Ginger (Desssert cheese and Jalapeño Cilantro Jack). (I can't remember what kind they were all. We also tasted another one called Balsamico Parmesan and it was very good, but we didn't buy it. The staff was not excessively friendly, not the day we went (11/17/18), but at the end of the visit she spoke a little more. We also bought some Chutney that we were able to rehearse. I highly recommend it. There is a smaller glass for $5.95 but it is really small.

Unbelievable spread for my brother's wedding. I could have been at the table all night. I loved the selection and presentation so creative and professional. These girls HIT it from the park. we were from crackers, so I would recommend leaving a few boxes for refilling, but otherwise the best food of the day!

Katie was so fun and knowledgeable. She created a customized wine/beer cheese pairing class for our work group that was interesting, helpful, and enjoyable. I’ve never found a cheese I haven’t liked, but Katie’s expertise showed me what true cheesemongering looks like. Thank you for a world class experience!
