The Croaker's Spot - Petersburg

The seafood at this restaurant is not the best and everything is quite high-priced, including the drinks. While the atmosphere inside is pleasant, the staff can be inconsistent and sometimes ignore customers until it's time for a tip. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic! We sat at the roomy bar and were welcomed by Josh. He provided us with a detailed explanation of everything on the menu and recommended the crab stuffed salmon. It was truly delicious! Tiny, our bartender, ensured that our drinks were perfect. I am excited to return to Petersburg again in the future, as we will definitely be back to sample more items from the menu.

The fish boat was fantastic. The coating on their fried seafood was light and crispy, with no greasy taste, just full of flavor. The cornbread was moist and dense, absolutely delicious.

We had an amazing server, Zach! The fried fish was perfectly crispy and moist. We dined in for lunch and the price per person was $30–50. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 5. Highly recommend trying the Candied Yams, Mac and Cheese, and the Eggleston's Fried Fish Boat.

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and was very impressed. The food was delicious with generous portions, especially the amazing corn bread. The staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a lot of history, as it used to be an old farmers market, and the architecture is really cool. I only wish I had room to try their desserts. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere as a perfect 5 out of 5. The price per person was in the $20-30 range for dinner.
