Shut Yo Mouf - Petersburg

Oh! My God! I wanted to go here for a while and I finally made it today and I wasn't disappointed! I was really hungry, so I was on the sea food diet. Have the dinner size chicken and waffles plus the Veggie plate with Mac n cheese, yams and greens. My companion got the lunch size chicken and waffles plus the Veggie plate with potato salad instead of Mac n cheese. We tasted and wanted ourselves so that we both ended with 4 pages each. Great! Everything was very well seasoned and so delicious! I can't wait to eat here again. EDIT Today 1/4/21 stayed with my friends and they found out that I was not exaggerated when I said the food is FIRE!!! So yes! We'll be back. Everything was cooking!!!

This place is amazing. It has a super cool ambience and the food is divine. The portion sizes are worth the costs and will definitely leave you satisfied. The only thing better here is customer service!!! I'll be back again and again.

This has become my favorite place to eat! I often travel and love to try local and DIESER place is a must on my list every time I am in town. The staff was so friendly! I wish I could give 10 out of 5 stars.

The food here is absolutely amazing! We were searching for Soul Food and found this restaurant through Google. It reminds me of my mom's cooking! The buffet was fantastic. I had the cabbage, pork chops with gravy, sweet potatoes, and macaroni and cheese. I highly recommend dining here. The staff was very friendly, too!

The food was incredible! The yams were the best I've ever tasted. I had them as a side with my Philly cheesesteak sandwich, which featured super tender meat and perfectly cooked peppers and onions. I also tried a bite of the pulled pork, and it had outstanding flavor. I highly recommend this place!
