Buffa Italian Bakery - Petersburg

We ordered takeout from ZZQ in Richmond on Father's Day and were pleasantly surprised with three slices of incredibly delicious white bread. After calling ZZQ to inquire about the bread's origin, we learned that it came from Buffa Italian Bakery in Petersburg, specifically Buffa's Pullman White Thin Sliced. We saved a few slices and made amazing French toast the following morning. This bread is outstanding! We were also told by friends in Petersburg that Buffa Italian Bakery is run by a lovely family. We highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.

This bakery is a fantastic local spot. While they do sell to the public in specific situations, they primarily operate as a wholesale bakery. Specializing in Italian and American breads, pastries, and confectionery, they do not function as a traditional retail bakery.

Great local bakery. they will sell to the public under certain circumstances. but they are not a single-trade bakery. they are a wholesale bakery specialized in Italian and American brote, baked and sweets.

The bread here is amazing!! Not really a consumer facing bakery so you may want to get your favorite restaurant to but from here. Either way your going to be happy with outcome; they make or enjoy!!
