Aqua Bistro - Peterborough

The service was quick, warm, and highly professional. The ambiance was inviting and quite charming, with our table situated by a window that overlooked the river. The food was exceptional. We kicked off our meal with two of the most delicious homemade muffins I’ve ever had. My wife chose the crab cake sandwich, which was brimming with lump crab meat, perfectly seasoned and served alongside fried potatoes and a small salad. I opted for the Aqua Bennies, which is featured as the house specialty, and I can assure you, it was nothing like your typical eggs Benedict! The dish was a remarkable blend of gravlox, spinach, caramelized onions, and perfectly poached eggs, all resting on a potato galette and topped with a delightful hollandaise sauce. It was a wonderful meal and an exceptional experience, and I want to thank the regular who encouraged us to come in and give this place a try!
