We were in one of the rooms at the back of the pub and from the moment we went through the door, we were made to feel home! fran was exceptional as eating! cooked by her husband. We never felt like home while we were gone. all staff were friendly and happy to help! even dylan who worked in the kitchen helped me to give a lift to collect my car from neighboring oundle. a great thumb to all definitiw a place to visit great beer, extraordinary food and amazing personal

Absolutely beautiful meal, from start to finish. I had the Lasagne, fresh ingredients, flavoursome beef and lovely verdi lasagne with tasty garlic bread and salad. Loved to see Affogato as a dessert option on the menu, fun and delicious. My husband said his meat pie was as good as his nans she was a brilliant cook) and mum in law had the Haddock Mourne that she loved. Friendly and efficient staff, inviting venue.

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The beer is great, and the food is delicious! I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem!

On the way back at 12:30, we were unsure if we should be served, but the lady kindly prepared some fritters and made us a large bowl of chips that were amazing. What a beautiful pub!

I had a fantastic lunch for two. The welcome upon arrival was delightful. The decor is beautiful, and there's a great selection on the menu, with the food being both excellently prepared and delicious. The presentation was impressive as well. The hotel is situated just outside the charming town of Oundle, surrounded by lovely scenery. An added bonus is the alpacas located at the end of the play area, along with a spacious garden perfect for children.
