Thai Ginger Bistro - Petaluma

I got the chicken Tom Kha, chicken pad see ew, and sticky rice with Mango. Food was well portioned, hot, and flavorful. Staff was also very kind throughout visit.

You walk into a uniquely decorated restaurant that has a good amount of seating and tons of plants. The place is very clean along with a clean restaurant. The service was very friendly but very slow. Lots of waiting around and trying to flag down the waiter when there were only two tables with customers. Had a peaceful lunch here on a Saturday afternoon, first visit. Decor was tasteful and the room was quiet but not overly so (light background muzak played). Ordered the noodles with veggies and peanut sauce plus the fresh spring rolls and some rice. Everything was delicious! I was very happy they were knowledgeable about gluten-free and vegan options (both for our table and another couple asking similar questions). Service was easy; kind and efficient. Quite happy we popped in to give it a try.

Such delicious and authentic Thai dishes. I ordered from a delivery service and was delivered both the Pad Thai as well as the Tempura Prawns. When my food arrived there were a couple of miner mistakes. I 'd asked for peanut sauce as well as Prawn Pad Thai but received chicken. I called the restaurant just to see if the deliverer had screwed up or the restaurant had. I wasn 't interested in any kind of refund or anything else, but when one of the staff came on the phone, an elderly woman, either the manager or owner, she was more than profusely apologetic...But far beyond that, she told me that she would make it right. I told her there was no need to, that the food was delicious anyway, but she insisted. I make it right for you! Again I pleaded that that was not necessary, but I lived close by so she insisted not only correcting my order but that she would deliver it herself! In less than a half hour she appeared at my door, carrying freshly made prawn Pad Thai along with the peanut sauce, but refused payment. She then said that I no longer needed to pay for some kind of delivery service and but that they would always deliver my food themselves to save me money! I tipped her generously. Anyway, as I said, incredible Thai Food, but the best service I 've ever received.
