Bidrage med feedbackIt is with all the respect to other very good restaurants in Pescara the best. Located in a pedestrian area, a small winding alley, you should go there and sit outside. Chef Alfonso has won a famous Italian TV show cooking award not without a reason. For us it started with a recommendation of our local Hotel receptionist and now we go there for the fourth year in a row always the first and last evening of our vacation at our Italian part of the family near Pescara. Special recommendation goes out to the Arrosticcini (small grilled piked lamb for 1€/each) and the 'ice desert ' (I forgot the name), freshly made at your table by Chef Alfonso himself. Also the local wine (house wine) is outstandingly good (red or white, doesn 't matter).
This is the best restaurant I have ever been to, excellent food with excellent service. The chef has won the very important competition in Italy it 's called prova del cuoco . He is really the best and you can ask for anything and he Will make if it 's possible! He is number one!
Even though this restaurant has the potential to be very romantic, you get the impression that you are not really welcome. Our visit started out good with a fantastic antipasti but was followed by a barely average main course. Compared to other restaurants in the area, this is a quite pricey alternative which got our hopes up. Even so, the food was quite tasteless and the service was half-hearted. We are not returning to this restaurant and would not recommend it.
The restaurant could give a different expectation, the style leaves room for some doubt but the dishes are reassuring, well prepared, with ingredients that let you understand that they are the result of accurate research. Perhaps the chef should limit himself in an attempt to strike the great chefs in the complex presentation of sweets and stay on simplicity, but it is admirable however the effort. Honest account, at least for those who live in Milan.
Very delicate local, you can breathe tranquility and harmony. a beautiful menu that squeezes the eye on the news, something equally important a wine list and with the right prices! definitely to repeat as experience!
