Cala Di Ponente - PESCARA

It was exceptional ! We never really like those places near the beach as they often end up being touristic traps where food is super average and over priced. But there wow ! We got the tuna tartare, freshly cut!!!!! with amazing seasoning ! We picked the pasta of the day with was made with a fish ragu and the grilled fishes. PERFECT !! The fishes were extremely good but while trying out my husband 's pasta, was the mistake, because we ordered a second plate of these to share as a third dish ahah! The cook/boss is amusing, nice and speaks more than Italian ! (which is rare around here... We will come back for sure, probably tonight if there is some availability !

Antipasti was good. Then spiedini and calamari lightly fried, fresh and flavorsome. A carafe of wine was fine as house wine. Bice experience all in all.

We frequent this restaurant from 3 summers, excellent cuisine, always fresh fish, good service (some also great waiters) and correct value for the money-local. wine selection with wine cellars of Abruzzo. He never let us down!

Family lunch. nice location, nice staff, great lunch. to repeat permanently, highly recommended

Informal restaurant on the fishing riviera. excellent dishes with good value quality price and staff available and professional. sometimes slow service, probably because of the high number of people present.
