Chimek Victoria Park - Perth

Definitely the best fried chicken out of all the Korean fried chicken places I've tried in Perth! I saw one Perth food IGer say that Chimek was able to retain the crunch of the fried chicken the best and I have found that to be 100% true. Even when covered in sauce, the chicken stays crunchy. I've tried most of the wings flavours and the Guadalajara is my favourite, it's a unique flavour combination. The Popcorn Chicken is also great (come on a Sunday when it's cheaper! The fries that come with the wings are also amazing better than most restaurant and pub fries. I don't understand why they have so many delivery orders who wants lukewarm fried chicken? Come to the restaurant! You can park across the street at Coles for 4 hours free.

I recently visited this restaurant late at night and ordered the Flaming Hot Burger and the OG Burger, along with some chips and cheese sauce. Both burgers had crispy chicken patties. The Flaming Burger was spicy, but not overly hot. The portions were generous, with a decent-sized bun, patty, and filling. The chips were tasty and everything was reasonably priced. I plan on trying the chicken wings next time as the staff were friendly and accommodating.
