2 Fat Indians Mount Lawley - Perth

We have visited 2 Fat Indians on multiple occasions and have always enjoyed the delicious food! The service is excellent and they have a great menu selection for vegetarians.

The ambiance is decent, with comfortable chairs. However, the service was not good as the waitress was not welcoming and there was no complimentary appetizer. Other Indian restaurants typically offer Pappadums with mint sauce while waiting for the food. Our drinks and food took 30 minutes to arrive, with the lamb korma and garlic naan coming first. The rice and other curry came later, so we were glad we shared. The lamb korma and garlic naan were tasty. However, the butter chicken curry was watery instead of creamy and did not taste good. The butter naan was bland and undercooked. The butter rice was average. There is no parking available. I would only recommend ordering plain rice instead. Overall, I was not impressed.

The food arrived promptly. My curry was delicious, but my partner found the prawns just okay. He mentioned having had tastier shrimp at other restaurants.

It was okay. Would come back if the future. There are other Indian restaurants to which I would return first. Thoughtful surprise at the end of the meal for my mother's birthday but- thanks

Food was fantastic! The Platter for entree was fantastic value and excellent food! Mains were great. We will definitely be back in the future for more.
