Bidrage med feedbackCame here on a Thursday night and sat at the bar they had ladies night going on where certain drinks was 1/2 price ...the food and drinks was really good and the staff was friendly. I will definitely come here again.
This may be my favorite spot for Latin food. First off the ambience of the restaurant is nice. You walk in you are greeted by a host l. The Bar is nice and had a few flat a screen TV's. There was Latin music playing good volume. We sat in a indoor patio right along the main dinning area. One thing I recommend is for speakers to be installed in that area. Though you can hear the music but it was afar so it would of made the experience more better. Casual clothing I do recommend. Wearing exercising clothes or Shorts and a T, you will feel under dress lol. The tables and booths were nice. We order some drinks. Sangria and a Coconut Mojito and both was really good. Ok so let's dive in on the menu. From the Apps to the main course has a WIDE variety of dishes. I had for appetizers chicharrón de Cerdo, calamares A la ajillo, empanadas de rey and tostones relleno con ropa vieja each dish was delish For main course it was Pernil con arroz blanco y habichuelas rojas, Mosongo de camarones and Rabo con arroz blanco y habichuela negra and every dish was DELICIOUS for deserts it was Flan and Tres Leche. The Flan was a bit dry needed some of the syrup is comes with. The Tres Leche was ok. It's served on a small bowl and all of the liquid is in the bottom which I think is a bit much. The service overall was excellent and very attentive. The restaurant wasn't busy at all so take it for what it is but our server was great. The food temperature was excellent and had the right spices. The timing of the food coming out was also excellent but again the restaurant wasn't busy at all but it was impressive. There is parking when you turn into the place that is free. I didn't give a full 5 star rating because they need to put speakers in the patio area but Overall the food, Sri is and experience was great. Would def return and highly recommend the place.
My bf and I came here last for dinner.. this is actually one of my bf's favorite places to go. Ambiance is always nice when we come here.. hostess was nice and seated us asap since they weren't busy. For and app we ordered the chorizo croquets. Not bad, thought there would be chunks of chorizo, but none the less still good. We also were given warm bread and my most favorite butter in the world!!.. I ate all the bread and butter!!.. lol.. The bf order the bistek empanizado it came with totones, rice, red beans. This is a thin sliced piece of steak, lightly breaded. This dish was actually really good! Everything went well with each other. I ordered rabo guisado ox tail stew. I personally love ox tail! My bf isn't fond of it, but I grew up eating ox tail. This dish did not disappoint. It also came with rice, black beans, and tostones. The ox tails were cooked perfectly, very tender.. this dish had a lot of wonderful flavors and I enjoyed it! I would have given this place a 5, however our waitress wasn't s attentive. We had dinner at 7. The place was not packed at all. A family that was seated before us got their bread before us. We were like, wait what? She was not coming to check how things were, she did not give use more water (we had to ask another waiter for water), she didn't as if we wanted dessert or another drink, she didn't even give us the check even after my bf asked for it. He had to ask about 3 times. I mean if the place was packed and super busy, I'd give her slack. But it wasn't. The service we received was NOT good.. Anyway, besides the horrible service, I love the food here and would go back, hopefully not get the same waitress from last night.
We stopped in for a drink. Actually we were looking for some dancing and a live band and there wasn't any. But I enjoyed a cocktail and left. Maybe we were a tid bit early -10. We will be back.
I came here after watching a sailing race at the Yacht Club with a couple of the Sailors. And I certainly did the job ! After hearing that the food has been a hit or miss because of the constant change in management I was a little nervous but still eager to find a nice Latin restaurant. I ordered the empanadas (chicken) and plantains with ground beff on top for the appetizer and it's was good I enjoyed the empanada it was stuffed with ALOT of chicken though ! The Plantain Dish was different but amazing wish it was a little warmer though! For my main course I got the fried red snapper with black beans and rice and it was yummy !!!! The fish was heavenly it was seasoned just right ! In my opinion fish is a very light so I hate when the seasoning is overpowering it needs to compliment the fish and they achieved that! The beans didn't taste all that great but when I went to eat them the next day that tasted amazing ! I give it three because the food was good the dinning room was beautiful! But I wasn't blown away enough to attend frequently . I will return one day if I'm in the area though.
