Bidrage med feedbackSuper service, nice location and delicious Sunday lunch, only half an hour booked in advance. we were not actually able to get to one of our more regular pubs. but so glad we tried here. it is a Jewel and we will definitely return.
This is a wonderful community-run pub, cafe, shop and restaurant, and really feels like the beating heart of a lovely little village. A warm welcome, friendly staff and great food round off the experience. The chips are a crispy, fluffy masterpiece of potato art!
My friend and I had a good walk on Bredon Hill and descended down to Elmley for lunch where we found the excellent Queen Elizabeth Inn. The staff were welcoming and friendly and allowed us to bring our dog into the lower bar. There was a jar full of doggy treats and the young lady behind the bar said I could take one for the dog. So I treated Isla with a very generous Bonio biscuit. There was a good selection of ales and we both had Wye Valley bitter which was a tasty and refreshing pint. We then ordered food which was delivered quickly to our table. The food was delicious and very reasonable in price. There was a good selection of lunch meals on the menu, all reasonably priced. The pub has a separate dining room for more haute cuisine dining. There is also a tea room attached to the pub which is run as a separate business. The inside of the pub was warm and traditional. It would be a great place to spend a few hours with friends supping fine ales and sharing stories. I must return to try a pint of the interestingly named guest beer, 'Shagweaver '.
Great food. Very friendly service and well priced . As the menu said pub classics as you would expect. Well worth a visit.
Lovely pub, delicious fish and chips. Menu choice is not big but food was nice...just what we needed. Decoration, toilets, the ambient was all good. Will go back when I visit that part of the world next time.
