Basil Pizza Wine - Perrysburg

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was not disappointed. The ambiance is perfect for both a romantic date night and a casual brunch. I tried the Kevin Bacon pizza, and it was amazing! The crust was crispy and well-textured, while the various types of bacon were perfectly balanced across the pizza—definitely a 5/5 for taste. The Sangria flight we had before the pizza was also fantastic, with the Tiger Sangria standing out as the favorite. I will definitely be coming back!

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic, and the menu is filled with delicious flavors! The Crab Eggs Benedict was outstanding. The dish featured green peas and tomatoes that beautifully complemented the crab cake, balancing its natural sweetness. I typically dislike sweet crab cakes because they often mask the freshness of the crab, but this one was perfect with no fillers to overshadow the true flavor. The fingerling potatoes were a great side, and I enjoyed a cup of Corsini coffee that completed the meal. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

I visited the restaurant on Thursday at 5 PM and encountered no wait time for my party of two. Our waiter was extremely friendly, and we were presented with a diverse menu selection. We chose to start with the Baked Brie and shared the Queen Margherita pizza. The baked brie was delicious and the perfect size for two, though it could have benefited from a longer baking time. The pizza was also tasty, but the texture was quite thick and flimsy in the middle, making it challenging to lift slices from the dish without them falling apart. Based on what I observed at other tables, I think we may have chosen the wrong pizza, as theirs appeared to hold together better. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would consider returning; we just felt the food could use some improvement.

Eating here is great. You have a lot of options for food intolerances. The menu is varied and they have a good selection of wines. I really wish they had beer. Large terrace with live entertainment in summer. It will be REALLY loud in the dining area around the dinner time. The staff was always exceptional and knowledgeable.

First time at Basil and lemme tell ya, this place is fantastic. First thing walking through the door we had this amazing gentlemen with a nice sweater introduce himself and help us. Waited literally 30 seconds before we got sat down even though it was super busy. JULIA was our waitress and let me just say that she is the BEST. We had a severe nut allergy and was very prompt and helpful about making sure everything we had at the table was safe. She reassured the mother of the table and was always coming and asking if we needed anything. By far best service and friendliest service i?ve had at a restaurant by far
